Total Health are registered with the NDIS to deliver Behavioural Support Services.

 

What is Behavioural Support in the NDIS?

Behavioural support services are a type of support provided to NDIS participants that helps to create a clear action plan for participants living in their communities. It is usually funded to participants who have experienced harm, are at risk of harm, or have caused harm to others. This support allows for a participant to feel safe and included in their community.
 

Total Health can provide Behaviour Support through the following ways:

  • Take the time to listen carefully and patiently to your needs and goals
  •  

  • Create a positive behaviour support plan that keeps you and your community safe with clear protocol and guidelines
  •  

  • Complete a Functional Capacity Assessment to see what areas your funding can help with
  •  

  • Work with you to discover tools and helpful resources that assists you in every day life
  •  

  • Work with you to select your preferred providers that can help you in your every day life
  •  

  • Sit down and explain your preferred providers service agreements
     

  • Take the time to listen and answer any questions you may have
  •  

  • Work with you to make any changes to better suit your needs and goals through maintaining positive relationships with your preferred providers and community

  • Make sure your NDIS plan is being used the best way to suit you!
